Elkstone initially invested in Protex AI in June 2021 when we co-led the pre-seed funding round alongside Playfair Capital. Co-Founders Ciaran and Dan, first crossed paths at the Young Scientist Awards—a meeting that would eventually lay the foundation for Protex AI. In 2021 they secured seed funding, hired their first team member and opened an office in Limerick. In 2023 they expanded to USA after securing their first client.
